FAQS

What is ...? Questions

Our Legi Series are print and apply systems that variably print self-adhesive labels (from a label roll) and apply them to products. The label is usually applied to the product with an applicator and pressed on or blown on with compressed air (typical application examples: Address labels (online retail), logistics labels, cardboard box and pallet labelling ...).

Our Alpha Series are (dispensing) applicators that automatically dispense self-adhesive labels (from a label roll) onto products. The (dispensing) applicators are used independently on a conveyor belt or often several in a labeling machine. (Typical application examples: Closure labels on lids, colour labels on shampoo bottles ...)

Our Geset Series are labeling machines that apply one or more self-adhesive labels to products fully automatically. Depending on the version, alabeling machine comprises several assemblies for: Product transport, guidance, separation, alignment, labeling ... (Typical application examples: Labeling of cosmetic products, food or paint containers of all kinds...).

Our Linx 8000 Series is a continuous ink jet printer that uses a fast drying ink to enable non-contact coding on a wide range of materials. (Typical application: best before dates on food packaging...).

Our Lightworx Series are laser marking systems that use a high-energy beam of light to directly mark products. No consumables are used in the marking process. (Typical application examples: Best-before dates on bottle labels, marking on tools ...).

Our Linx-TT Series are direct thermal transfer printers for direct printing onto flexible film packaging. Printing is by thermal transfer with high-resolution print results. (Typical application examples: Printing on food and confectionery packaging...).

I can create and manage my own favourites list of systems in the systempark. This gives me direct access to documents without having to enter the S/N and EQ number.

Unsuccessful entry

Please check all the values you have entered carefully and try again. If possible, scan the 2D code (with the smartphone / tablett) of your labeller's nameplate, as this will help to eliminate input errors.

In particular, older systems (pre-2022) may not have access to the Service Portal. Please refer to the documentation supplied with your system or contact your system supplier for a quote on online availability of your documents.

Documents

As a rule, all necessary documentation for your labeling system will be supplied in paper form or on CD by 20.01.2027. For labeling systems that are delivered before 20.01.2027, it is therefore possible that the digital provision of the documentation is not possible or only partially possible.

In general, we provide all translations available to us for your labeling system free of charge. These are usually the operating or assembly instructions and a declaration of incorporation or CE declaration of conformity. (Technical documents, spare parts documents etc. are excluded) The operating instructions are generally provided in the official language of the country of destination of the labeling system. If this is not the case for you, please contact your system supplier.

In particular, option documentation can be used for different system series and across different systems, meaning that a document cannot always be clearly assigned to the system. On the other hand, combined or complex systems (e.g. labeling machines) can have several separate documentations.

Questions regarding registration and login

You do NOT need to register!
You will receive the documentation (according to the EU Machinery Directive) for your labeling system by entering the serial number (S/N) and equipment number (EQ) once you click on the link "TO_DOCUMENTS->". Alternatively, you can simply scan the 2D code on the nameplate with your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).

Spare parts

Spare parts information (where available) can be provided in the form of 3D models and parts lists with associated illustrations. 3D models can be opened and searched for parts using a 3D viewer. Please refer to the linked video tutorials for more information. Spare parts documents are often broken down into assemblies, so a complete machine often consists of several documents. (See also What is a Spare Parts Overview Document (EUD)).

A "spare parts overview document" provides information on assemblies and the associated spare parts documentation for a machine.

Spare parts are sometimes shown more than oncein illustrations, but are not always identified by an item number. - Please search the document for further illustrations with an item number. - Screws, nuts, washers... are so-called standard parts and can be obtained from normal dealers using the documented designations. - Components that are not subject to wear or risk of damage when used as intended are often not documented. To order these parts, please use the spare parts request form in our helpdesk. You are welcome to use the option of attaching image files to specify your spare parts order. Thank you very much.

Please use the spare parts enquiry form in our helpdesk. You are welcome to use the option of attaching image files to specify your spare parts order. Thank you very much.
